reds, bobo, pompono?
is anything biting at the pier? i called down there a couple of weeks ago and they said nothing was biting. i would really appretiate a response.
I figure it this way, if everyone in the world had a lie clock, whose hands moved once every time they lied. You could use any politicians lie clock as a ceiling fan.

I think the fact that the last report was almost 10 days ago and there have only been a few the entire month tells you everything you need to know.
Fish. Just fish.

ChiliRelleno reports that he has been tearing the reds up at Ft. Morgan the past few days. Maybe he'll give you a more detailed report if he's not off up in the Delta chasing wild hogs.

Re: reds, bobo, pompono?
We've been doing pretty good with the sheephead at the octi and a few pompano in the skinny water. Sheephead have been biting good on ghost shrimp and fiddler crab and the pompano we've caught have been hitting on fresh dead peeled shrimp fished on a carolina rig with about a 8-10" leader. Sheephead have been most active couple hours before and after low tide and the bite after has been steady but slow. Hope this helps. :shark

Re: reds, bobo, pompono?
I assumed no one was catching anything since there have been no reports. Hmm. Pier going into stealth mode?

oke: I wish it would go into stealth mode when the Macks chew it down and brown ones are spotted in the spring :wall:.. I'd say most of the daily fisherman that are still fishing havent ever posted much at all
Give a googan a king, and he can eat for a day. But teach a googan how to kingfish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years

This Thanksgiving, I'm thankful for an abundant fishery and a magnificent pier, from which to access that fishery. I'm thankful for the morning view of the sunrise and what a spectacular view it is...
Happy Thanksgiving!
