A few times yesterday I saw fish jumping about 50 yards beyond the outer bar. They were around 2' and chunky. I've no idea what they were. Anyone have an idea?

Probably bobos
... or mullet.
Did they look like this:

Or like this:

Only saw one or two at a time, but definitely not mullet. Bonito are a possibility, but thought the water would be too cool this time of year.
The Gulf water temps are probably in the low 60s.
Sufficient for bonita...
I’ve seen bobos in the middle of winter they seem pretty cold tolerant.
That makes me wish I had a kayak...
We saw some blackfin tuna jump at Okaloosa a few weeks ago. Pretty cool sight.
