Re: 2013?
Unlike Bill, I kind of did the opposite. I finally closed on my house on the 28th which is in Pensacola now, moving from Foley. But there is a bright side. I am still going to come to GSSP on my regular basis, but during ling season, I will he splitting my time between there and Navarre since I an equal distance away from both. :fishing:

Nope, none of that for me. Looks downright painful for a southern boy,

Re: 2013?
Havent done any ice fishing since 1990. When the fish are biting, ice fishing is fun. When they werent, we used to break out the coleman stoves and cook sausages & peppers and other goodies & drinnk hot chocolate. Lots of fun when a 6-8 guys are all together eating & listening to the game on the radio.

Re: 2013?
like anything..... it is only what you make of it....best I have during the winter months when not hunting.....may need to go back to work to kill some time  been plowing snow a few times....the neighbors love it....I do the whole street and most of the elderly's drive ways
as I age....I sure am having more of a problem with the cold temps....but still makes me feel very alive and enjoy what I can
you can see why I have a real passion for the salt water :fishing: :sharkBill..............

Re: 2013?
I was going to make a silly comment about using the ice drill to punch through the floor of the pier so you could fish straight below
oke:, and then I remembered that the Navarre pier has two wells just like that on the end, so I guess I'm not the only one who wants to fish among the pilings.

So, obviously I’ve posted that I’ve been away for about 12 or 13 years and am coming down on the 26th to rejoin the community. I’m amazed at how much pier knowledge I lost over the years and so a few...
Various knots and buried knowledge...
