I have not fished the Little Lagoon in a few years, but the pass was one of the better spots. You need to wade or have a boat and fish the breaks in depth. This time of year you can also find some specks near depth breaks within the Lagoon, but it has not been one of my favorite spots. You might catch a keeper flounder there.
Lots of croakers and undersized flounder has been my experience, occasional specks and white trout. Not much else, that's why there has been such a push to improve the tidal flow.People are shocked to see sharks in the water around here.
If you see natural water taste it. If it's salty it has sharks in it. If it's fresh it has alligators in it. If it's brackish it has both.
