Fishing License Question
What license or multiple licenses do I need as an out of state resident wanting to surf and pier fish? Also I've heard something about a new license for reef fish?
Thanks, James

Full out of state salt water to fish anything beside a pier .....meaning(beach) , if fishing for mangrove snapper (any reef fish) get the 10.00 reef fish endorsement
mine was like 54.00 for the year.... I guess it is by state of residence for the priceBill..............

So I don't need a separate one for the pier? I always buy both just to be sure

No, Big Boy. Saltwater license is good anywhere in saltwater and that includes the pier. However you still have to pay the entrance fee to fish the pier.

Nope, the full salt water covers everything.... you still will need a daily fishing pass for the pier 9.00 ...unless veteran then discount to 6.00, separate from the fishing license.... if only fishing the pier they have a license for that at about 11.00 for the year, but good for pier only, not the beach or pass
Bill..............
Honestly, I am not sure Tom. But your speculation has merit as recent rains would have brought an influx of nutrients into eastern LL and a subsequent increase in macroscopic life feeding on that...
Rain/Red minnows shortage this...
