$100 for 1 night of fishing is insane, especially when people can drive down to navarre and catch sharks for the price of a pier pass, i dont see anyone paying for the permit

The pier (which is owned by the state) has always had a "no shark fishing" policy (or they have since I started fishing the pier back in the mid-80s). Originally Posted by jollymon

Pier, State Park, Orange Beach, and Gulf Shores. Most go to Fort Morgan for shark fishing. Originally Posted by jollymon

No. You cannot fish for sharks anywhere on the beach in Gulf Shores or Orange Beach. Big fine.
Only from a boat.
You aren't supposed to do any kind of fishing from shore within 100 yards of the pier---or from a boat for that matter.chillinfish likes this.
