    Berkley Inshore Spinning Rod

Anybody have experiance with these rods? I'm looking to get a new setup for throwing xraps at a decent price, my current setup wears too much on my wrist and hands, price of getting old, ive got alot of berkley rods for bass fishing that are comfortable and dont wear on me so thought this would be a good place to start

I use a Berkley AMP medium fast 6'8" rod (2 piece but they make a 1 piece) with a Penn Battle II 3000 for bubble rigs and X-raps. I have three of these set-ups. They are light and throw good, don't kill my arm throwing for a long time.

I use a Shakespeare Ugly Stik E Lite Graphite 7' 2pc with a Stradic CI4+ 3000. Very light but could still handle Blues and Spanish in the 20" range from the pier which I did just three days ago at OBX. Got it for Pomps in the shallows but water was dirty and the blues started coming in and it was handy and thought, why not.

Love it for throwing grubs at spec trout too.

Thanks for the replys, dasabigfish thats a lil too light, i need something heavier for kings, j55 i'll look into the amp, see if they carry it a lil longer and 1 piece, had some bad experiances with 2 pieces in the past and now try to avoid them like the plague, except for my big surf rods lol

    Fishingjunkie84,
Only had 1 piece rods since I was a kid, till I had kids (2 girls), friends, and older family members. The trade off seeing one of my daughters pull in a nice King or any fish really is PRICELESS! I like to take people that has never been saltwater fishing or ones that hasn't had very good luck, just to show them how much fun you can have. Still broke a 2 piece rod a couple weeks ago but a lot less broken rods than with 1 piece and the travel better.
