Never ate bonnethead, but a simple shark recipe i like is broiling or grilling in tin foil, add some butter or olive oil, lemon juice, lil garlic and paprika, simple but tastes good, same way also works good with spanish i found out a couple weeks ago
That is a large specimen for a Bonnethead!
They should fry up as well, but grilling has the best taste imho
I second Pier #'rs response. I've eaten several varieties of shark and like it any way it is prepared. Always a light white meat with mild flavor that can be fried, grilled, broiled with or without your favorite seasoning.
