Can anyone help with some info on shallow table fish

Might be able to get down next week late for a couple of days. Can anyone tell me if there are still any whiting or ground mullet around the shallows. How are the small flounder doing (I like about 12 to 13" ones to cook whole). I see where a few pompano are being caught and a couple of reports on trout. Are they hitting artificials? How about small reds in the 16 to 22" range. I enjoy reading about the kings and spanish and cobia but mobility issues mean I rarely pass the mid point anymore. Thanks for any info that can be provided. I wish good fishing to all of you...

Whiting are not nearly as thick as they were but you can still catch a few. Pomps, specks, and flounder have been mostly caught on live bait. The flounder are about the size you want 12-13" for the most part. There have been a few spanish in the shallow water to.

They were wearing the whiting out when I was leaving the pier a little before 2:00. I saw a few nice pomps and flounder at the cleaning table also. Didn't see any specks caught but got a report from a reliable source that they are starting to show up with a few being caught.

Ray---I haven't been fishing the shallows much, but talk to those who do and they say the pompano are making some good runs and I've seen quite a few whiting and some flounder on the cleaning table, so they are definitely there. Hope I get to see you when you're down, and don't hesitate to holler at me if I start to pass by you.
