Anyone here ever stayed at the huge Caribe Resort just across Perdido Pass on the Left? We are thinking of staying there next year. They have 3 huge boat dock/piers structures and I was wandering how the fishing was off the docks? Thanks Guys!!

I don't know about off their docks, but across the street is a good stretch of beach with some good surf fishing, depending on the time of year. They will take you across the higway (under the Perdido Pass bridge) in a shuttle.
Current really rips along there on a falling tide. Im willing to bet there are redfish and sheepshead around all that structure and flounder along the seawall.
And as Haywire indicated, good fishing along the beach and jetties just around the corner.
Whatever you do don't harvest the oysters growing on the floatation around the docks!

I know someone who might have once found some big clumps of big oysters in a grassbed down there one day in February. I hear they were some of the best raw oysters he ever ate!
I know somebody who used to wade the little sloughs and cuts on Walker Island who regularly found some of those same oysters, but those days are long past---back then there were grass flats out there that held some fine speckled trout. No more.
Wonder why too??? There is more acreage than of grassbeds in lower Perdido now than anytime since the 1960’s. You’d think it would be a great place for specs, especially top water.
