Boo! I don't fish these species between April and August. AA Personal Conservation Rule.
Nonetheless, I might could participate in the September one. Sounds like fun. :headbang:
Bump...Btw, extra points are given for LIVE fish. :headbang:
Bump...Tomorrow is the first tourny in the series. We have a kayak division and the whole thing is open to anyone who has a valid state license!!!
For more info visit us on facebook @ Alabama Hunger Relief!!!
^^^ Post it on MBKFA, if you havent.
Don't think it's on there but it's all over ACFA...Do you you still think we should post it there as well?
^^^ Yes. The MBKFA guys LOVE the causeway, Delta and inshore fishing. It is all they do.
Had a great turn out this past Saturday! :headbang: 32 teams participated from all over Mobile and Baldwin counties. Despite the cruddy conditions, there were still a lot of good fish at the weigh-in station. The Speck jackpot was won by the usual suspect, O.P. Harrison with a 7.99lber...I believe a team from Baldwin Co. won 1st place for the heaviest slam weighed in (around 16 lbs)...I, myself, finished 9th but at least I did get the slam. Only 15 out of 32 boats were able to get the slam. Almost forgot...500lbs of fish were donated to our cause on top of the money we raised so some hungry people will get a good fish dinner this week!!! :yay:
Glad you had a great turnout. Any kayakers participate?
I like the format 8)
BTW, that was George Harrison (O.P.'s grandson) :yippee:
His 2nd 8# class speck this year. This one was released alive! :headbang:
