Does anyone have any time off during the Christmas holiday that they are going to devote to fishing?
What will you be fishing for if you do?
I've got some plans in the works to fish for rainbow and brown trout here in Kentucky, or maybe join in the sauger run on the Ohio river below one of the dams.
Coming down Jan 22 for my first trip of next year. Can’t offer help, just recognized you from kentuckyhunting forum. But, what happened to you haven’t seen you on there in awhile.
Sheepshead from the pier or Perdido Pass seawall. Live shrimp ;-)
Whiting from the beach. Dead shrimp ;-)
How popular or well do fish bites work from the beach?

Thanks, Xi. I somewhat remember your situation. That forum is just a shell of it's former self, mostly watching grown men argue over stuff. I didn't participate that much anyway, but enjoyed the fishing section and miss your posts, well, just about anybody's posts, just mostly dead. I'd hoped for and maybe it was discussed, a kayaking get together, but it never happened. Anyhoo, this is a friendly forum that has helped me a lot, now that the area has become my home away from home with frequent visits. I don't know how much fishing I will get done this trip, but hope to hit the pier or surf some. I have family biz in NOLA and hope to get some bicycling in, as I'm back to doing that. The Hobie is not making this trip, although, kastlemac's Bon Secour reports are starting to make me second guess that decision. I loved fishing there.
