Great line at very reasonable price

As a guide, I go through A LOT of line each year. No big deal since line and hooks are the bottom of the totem pole on costs associated with charter fishing.

I always buy stuff in bulk when possible. I have fished both Diamond and Suffix and thought they were good in their own right. BUT...

I have been fishing Momoi's Hi-Catch in Smoke Blue color for the last 3 years. Since I fish predominantly 10# I need the strongest yet best casting and knot tying line I can get...yes I understand I just described best all around line!!

I am able to step up to 12# in this product due to the fact that it's diameter of 0.31mm is the same as others 10# test.

Buying the bulk spool of 5800 yards it is less than 1.5 cents per yard and the 1/4 pound spool is only slightly more.

Got at it J and M....give it a try!

    JayHook,
I agree. The Momoi Hi-Catch mono in smoke blue is the best stuff I have ever used for fresh or salt. By hobby, I am a tournament bass angler and for all out fun, I make several trips to the coast each year (Orange Beach to Lake Charles, LA and all points in between). You cannot beat the Momoi mono, flouro, or leader material in my mind. I use a lot of line and this stuff is great. No affiliation whatsoever, just a very happy customer.

Agreed, smoke blue Hi Catch is great line. I'm running some 15 lb on a bigger fish outfit right now and I like it.

I do think though that the very best line value right now is Berkley Big Game. You can find 1/4 lb (1500 yds of 10 lb) spools of it for less than $10
