Cold....but fair.....

Went on my first fishing trip of the year today. Busy schedule, bad weather, and gulf coastal salt water infatuation has kept the interest down. Today started at 36, but the forecast said 60 with light winds. They were right on target as the wind was south/south east at 5-7 all day. Fished about six hours in our nearest lake. Caught a nice one right off the bat, and then waited several hours for another bite. We ended up with a nice mess -- a few over 20 crappie and some sand bass I fed to the neighbor's cat. Forgot my phone, so here's the only pic. Supper tomorrow night:

[font=comic sans ms][size=12pt]Rich, Thanks for the report and pic, it's hard to beat Crappie. I used to have a good neighbor who always had a freezer full on his carport.
He told us to help ourselves whenever we wanted fish.
Walking across the street to his freezer was the easiest fishing ever; guess I was kinda like Sam, taking handouts.

Looks like your fishing has been 'crappie' while ours has been 'crappy' ;) :D
