Disgusted with the weather too!
More and more people are moving to LA to escape the harsh winter we have had here in the Midwest. I've met and fished with so many friends on the pier and have especially missed it this winter, soooo...
I bought a house in Foley and will be moving soon. Only problem is I have no appliances or furniture.
Anyone know someone who might have a small trailer I could rent cheap
to haul stuff to the house as I buy it?
I'm so excited I can't sleep at night. Move is scheduled for March 1.
hope I can get all the painting etc. done before the good fishing starts.
Thanks guys.

Yup. Going to keep the house in Wisconsin, just going to save on rent, income tax, and fishing license...

You can get a really good 16 foot tilt trailer for around $750 in the central Alabama area. I borrowed my cousins today to pickup a new UTV for use around the yard and garden. I was going to buy one but he said that his is always available to me and I try to provide him with fish every once in a while for reimbursement. We both win.

John,
I sent you a PM. But in case you haven't seen it:
Thanks for the offer John. For us pier/forum guys, it seems we are always able to depend on each other, especially with your generosity.
The situation will be that I'll be buying some used items when I get there and just need a trailer to haul them back to the house. Stuff like a bed, washer/dryer, couch, dinette set, lawn mower, etc. it won't all happen at once.
Separate trailer rentals can get expensive especially when I need the extra cash for furniture and fishing. Just thought someone might have a small trailer for me to use to help out. Thanks.

Melissa728,
Thanks for the reply, but not sure what you mean by "good fishing start".
