Dolphin
At 1 pm I was drowning a frozen shrimp on the east beach between Sea and Suds and the Pink Pony. A dolphin washed up on the beach. No sign of it getting hit by a prop. Old age, sick, starved or all of the above. Fishing the way it's been, the starved probably had a part to play. Imagine they would do an autopsy after they haul it away. Created quite a stir with the spring break crowd.

Could've been plastics as well. Unfortunately water pollution is getting worse. Hope this guy didn't die at the hands of litter.

The March average for dolphin strandings is about twice that of any other month,
seems even more so since 2010 (maybe because we are paying closer attention?)
