Don’t Be Cruel
[size=12pt]If a bird gets tangled in your line or hooked, just remember you are playing in their dining room!
Please take the time to carefully remove your line and/or hook from our feathered friends so you aren’t responsible for something like this.

If you are afraid to handle the situation yourself, please ask for help. Bird tangles are aggravating, but the birds shouldn’t have to pay with a body part of their life.
Also, if you are going to use a Gotcha Plug, please learn how to cast and retrieve it in a safe manner! Don’t do this to a fellow fisher or yourself.

Re: Don’t Be Cruel
I might also point out that our fine feathered friends wouldn't be so anxious to hang around fishermen if they weren't used to the occasional hand out. Not passing judgment one way or another on the morality of feeding wildlife, just saying its natural for them to come running when they see easy food.

Re: Don’t Be Cruel
Also if people wake up when on the rail and watch there bait you can always reel it away from the bird :poke1:
