Dont go on a boat with a googan and this is why

Well gonna be missing a week or so of fishing i was with a friend in the bay that i thought he new how to drive a boat but WRONG! ::) He hit a wave and backed it off at 30mph and put the boat sideways into the wave :-[ so there i go flying in the air in the water and my rod and reels was stuck in my leg with hooks in me..This how i saved my 2 penn reels and lost a shimano solstace that was not hooked into my shin kinda wish it was..and as i was getting into another boat i pushed a boat cleat into the bottom of my foot going about 3inchs into my right foot so to the ER i went got a few pics also :)

[/quote]yeah i know i been fishing since i was 3 and on a boat with dad before i could walk and never been hooked or fell/tossed from a boat i got 2 for 1 in one day Glad i did not hit my head and the prop did not hit me

exactly! the sea is unforgiving, and many who own boats probably shouldn't. glad you are able to tell us about it and will have drag screaming again in no time.

Still not completely sure how you put a cleat through your foot trying to get back on a boat. Didnt you feel the cleat before it went into your foot?

lol i might do that sit in the skinny water and catch whiting and flounder

Accidents can happen REAL QUICK CAN'T THEY. Most of the time there is just no time to react. Next time I see you on the pier I will tell you about the one I had a few years ago at the deer club. Hope you recover real quick. I like your new pier cart. You need to get a trailer to haul your fishing stuff in and you will be set. Take care Wilson.
