Fairhope Pier?
The job is sending me down to AGAIN at the end of the month 22nd-26th
.... I will be staying in the Hampton or Hilton in Fairhope and I have heard tale of a pier in Fairhope/Daphne area. Should i fish here? If so what should i fish with/for? Or should I just make the drive to GSSP where I know I can catch fish...
Any help is appreciated.

Last time out water very dirty, lots of freshwater. Heard of a couple of bull Reds from the end, I had a few small Specks near the lights on Crappie jigs. Saw a 3ft+ Alligator Gar cruise by. Cats and Croaker for the dead-shrimp anglers (per reports).
All subject to change depending on rain, salinity etc so worth a shot if you're just looking to go fishing.
