falling off pier ?
Has anyone ever fell off of the pier? With them going to start serving Beer and such I have wonder about this. If someone were to go in how would they get out? If it was a small child I guess someone could jump and people throw rope down to pull them up but how could adult make it back up. Are there any places under pier to climb up until help could arrive? I hope this never happens but beer and bad things go together.

There are so many :shark in water when I have been fishing. No fish worth swimming with them.

I will neither confirm or deny said incident that may or may not have led to a certain fisherman deciding to leave the safety of the pier to attempt to retrieve said record catch. NOW. With that being said. The free end of a gaff rope makes for a pretty fair fisherman retrieval tool in the case of pier abandonment.

I will say this, If I ever break the 100lb mark on a cobia from the pier I will be taking a swim from the T.

This Thanksgiving, I'm thankful for an abundant fishery and a magnificent pier, from which to access that fishery. I'm thankful for the morning view of the sunrise and what a spectacular view it is...
Happy Thanksgiving!
