First saltwater adventures for a 3 year old
I am going to be spending quite a bit of time in the Gulf Shores area over the next month. I am wondering if anyone has some good ideas of how to get a 3 year old with a short attention span entertained with some good marine adventures.
We hit lagoon pass last weekend and he hooked up with a small red and today he must have picked up 100 hermits on the lagoon side. Are the blue crabs still around and if so where?

There are 9 billion snappers at the ob pass ha can catch every cast with bull minnows or threadfins.

Get a Zebco 202 and a sabiki rig and put him on the pier :fishing: :headbang:

This isn't fishing, but it's still saltwater and outdoors----get him a flashlight and a bait net and let him chase ghost (sand) crabs on the beach right after sunset. Be sure to release the survivors.

haywire, we're already doing that as well. He loves it.
fishheadspin, what is the preferred side of pass. I was on beach side last week and got a bunch of trash fish with trouble finding bait.
