First time visiting Gulf Shores and Questions
Hi All:
My name is Mike and I will be visiting during the first week of May. I have been reading about the area, but have some fishing questions.
(1) Are there any recommendations for Inshore charter boats – good or bad?
(2) A couple of places for non-boat fishing? I am pretty much catch, photo, throw em back. (3) Is a salt water license correct to fish ‘Little Lagoon’?
Thanks - Mike

Try Tom's Coastal Adventures. My son and I run a 26' panga boat out of Little lagoon. 251 223 7663 for more info.

Yes Mike, a saltwater license is what you need to fish in Little Lagoon as well as any beach front.
There are from-shore public access venues in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, just note they are all pay-to-park that time of year...
Also at the GSPPier and other places in Orange Beach...
And you can find limited "free" parking @ access on Mobile Street and Burgoyne Place farther west...

Besides Tom Eberly, I can recommend David Brown, Ralph Young or Mike Peek as inshore guides.
