Re: fishing monday
You did the most important thing right - asking for help. I'm constantly amazed at the amount of knowledge here and on the pier and at the willingness to help. Good luck. Pretty sur someone will be along shortly

Give a googan a king, and he can eat for a day. But teach a googan how to kingfish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years

Re: fishing monday
Not only did you get an offer from a good fisheran, but from - soon to be - one of America's finest.

Re: fishing monday
I'l be there at daylight, unless i get a call for a fishing trip. then i wont be out until 11 or so, but there a ton of great people on the pier, dont be afraid to ask questions, most everyone out there will go out of their way to help out

[size=12pt]John will be easy to spot, 1. he will be the one catching Kings and then 2. grabbing a another bait and running back to the rail and repeating steps 1 and 2 over and over again.
You will need to get there about daylight to catch up with John before he heads off to work. Well worth the effort to be there, and if Peaches is there too, well, you just hit the fishing lottery!
Peaches is right; most of the regulars will be glad to help ya out, just watch a few minutes and you can tell the regulars from the rookie tourist types. The people willing to ask for help, usually end up with fish in their cooler and pictures on the forum. Good luck to ya and will see you on the rail soon.

This Thanksgiving, I'm thankful for an abundant fishery and a magnificent pier, from which to access that fishery. I'm thankful for the morning view of the sunrise and what a spectacular view it is...
Happy Thanksgiving!
