Go to tge search bar and type in whats biting when, go to the first thread by pier#r he has a chart on there that will give u an idea of what to expect.
Ok thanks!
What artificials do yall suggest for sheepshead?
A silver cricket
The silver cricket (snatch hook) is the only artificial that I've ever heard of anyone being successful with. I recommend live shrimp (because if the sheepshead aren't around/biting, you can use live shrimp for other species) or (second choice) fiddler crabs.
Live shrimp are my choice, by far, because if the sheepshead aren't biting, you can always take the bait home and cook it.
Thanks for all the help!
I prefer fiddler crabs as pets. I have one called, "Charlie Daniels"! I have a bunch of other fiddler crabs, but I just call them, "bait".
