Fort Morgan
I have a few questions pertaining to Fort Morgan. We have reservations @ gulf shores plantation for the last week in June and the first week in July. I will be bringing my boat and plan on fishing in and around the mouth of Mobile bay. (May run to the close oil rigs if weather permits). Now if I am lucky enough to catch some eatable fish is there somewhere i could clean them other than on my tailgate of my truck, I knw my wife will not let me do it inside the condo. LOL Also not sure on tackle size because I want to fish for table fish and my daughter and boyfriend will want to chase sharks. Haha Thanks in advance.

You could drive all the way up to the pier an use the cleaning stations there.
Or just make use of the tailgate with a 2'x3' piece of plywood and a garden hose.
I'll let others suggest gear/tackle for ya.

Just take a bucket on a rope and fillet them out on the "L-shaped pier" behind the boat ramp ;-)

Thanks guys, I will do just what pier#'r said if I am lucky enough to catch something. Im thinking about bringing my throw net and live bait tank, where would be a good place to start looking for useable bait that I could catch in that net? I sure am looking fwd to this trip. Thanks in advance for any advice. This is a awesome fourm!!!!

For the tackle size it depends on what you're trying to catch. Most anything you catch is good eating. If your targeting small things from the surf like whiting, pompano or things like that then I use 8-12# tackle. If in little lagoon or the bay or even bigger surf fishing I use something that could handle a bull red or black drum without being overmatched like 12-16#. If on the pier anything goes depending on what your trying to catch, but bigger reels like a penn 6000 or more size will be needed for kings or cobia, a penn 706 is about ''standard'' (300 yds of 20#). For sharks, penn Senators are about the best thing for huge sharks but i wouldn't go under 20# tackle if you are targeting smaller sharks.
