Thank you so much! I've always enjoyed forums. No more JEEPS, racing motorcycles, racing bicycles, you're all I have left, I can't even get excited about bass anymore. I just came here to pick up info when I decided to bring the kayak one year to re-discover salt water fishing since moving up north in the early 80's. Obsessed now, I think Bill is the only one on here more than me, lol.

Being that my firewall prevents FB from my laptop, I use this forum throughout the day, every day, whether to read, or ask questions, or post the occasional report. I always refer new folks that I take fishing to the forum instead of fb.

Of course its still poplar, I "go to the gulf" about every morning to see what's happening until my yearly September visit.

Yep..forum is the way to go. Learnt probably a lifetime worth of information in the short time I’ve been here.
Best thing about pier rats Is when Kirk posts the report. Other than that there’s way way too much BS..ppl posting pics of fish caught in other countries, on rigs 90 miles out, and
tons of ads and politics..maybe I am missing something somewhere. But I am thankful for the forum!
