Flounder Bite Time?
Has anyone ever noticed a difference in the time of day that people are catching flounder? Sunrise, dusk, or just randomly throughout the day?

I have noticed only one lately.
And I would say "random"...

I'd say "random" and even the characterization, "sporadic" would be a bit generous. Just not that many people fish for flounder and the ones who do are not that successful lately. And by "lately", I mean since Spring. It's just been a real off-year for flounder from the pier.

It has been four years since I had a good flounder year. Each year since then has been worse than the previous. I used to consider myself a good flounder fisherman.
