Found this at Fairhope pier Friday night:

This one, and 4 others hit the jig in the photo. May have been legal, but I wasn't keeping any so it didn't matter. (3 were probably 15".)
Just good to see them that close to shore, but dang the bite was timid. Barely inhaled the jig, usually on the fall.
On and, I pulled one over the rail, and since it was lightly raining... he slid right on off the other side. He was probably about 10lbs... maybe a little bigger.Last edited by Pop Jiggity; 04-07-2014 at 03:03 AM. Reason: stupidity

Before I believe that, you'll have to show me the exact spot where he slid off so I can measure the hole he left in the water.

man i was just at fairhope saturday. didnt catch nothin besides a couple net fulls of mullet
