I have stayed there several times. My best fishing there has been in the fall (Oct and Nov). The water is so shallow that Kings are very rare. Spanish sometimes. Generally you would expect to catch the same species that are common in the shallow water of the state pier. At times I have done really well with flounder. Whiting are usually good in the fall there. Sheephead at times. It is never crowded. The most people I have seen fishing at one time on the pier is about 12 to 15. Often you have it by yourself. The people I have met there are generally very nice and helpful. :)
