Good day to you bigjim and welcome to the forum!
I haven't been to DI lately, but this is generally a good time of year to fish the jetties.
Sheepshead, redfish, black drum, ground mullet, white trout, croakers, and specks can be caught there now.
For sheepshead there I've used live shrimp and fiddler crabs.
Hope this helps!(RETIRED) mostly.

Thanks much Pier#r, I know I have left the better portion of a large tackle box on the rocks at Perdido....figured I might bless DI with some too! Thanks again, we'll give it a try.

Bigjim, I was undecided Monday on where to fish and I was informed that the Sheepshead bite was on fire at DI. That made me go towards there (Ft.Morgan). If the bite there is as good as it was at the nearby platforms, I think you'll do pretty good.
The DI report I heard was good, not sure of where specifically but I'd imagine they aren't hard to find.
