pfft... minds in the gutter do tend to run off the road. ::)
Back on topic, I wunder why the long projection off to the side?
Is it just a 'billboard'?
Seems like it adds a good bit of weight :-\ just sayin...
The 2nd one I built was with Schedule 40 which is about 25% lighter than the Sched 40.
That does make a difference in how long I can keep pumping during each session.
??? ummm :-X :-[
:o
Uhh huh. I know what yer 'dirty mind' is thinkin! ;) :D

Agreed. Mine is pretty much an exact copy of the one PNG has pinned on the DIY board with exception of end caps added to the handle. My lower back gives out from the bending long before the arms and shoulders. And of course we all know that long pumping stamina is the key to continued success. :poke1:
As to the side projection, maybe it's some sort of backflow chamber that increases the depth of the vacuum created on the back stroke. :-\
looks like a hand hold to me.....something to pull against with your free hand when using(push pull action)..... instead of gripping the main tube ???? just a thought....but kinds large for that ;)
I planned to make mine with a short handle but no end cap.
I thought it would be an easy way to flush it out to rinse it .
You should not need any back pressure.
Wouldn't all the "sucking" you need come from the test plug when you pull and nothing needed when you push back?
The one I bought @ J&M had the top cap just wedged in the tube (NOT glued).
That makes cleaning MUCH easier :headbang:
