I see people are using regular shrimp but there has been no mention of ghost shrimp lately.
Has the beach replenishment made a difference in them being around?

Any help here?
The daytime higher tides often makes pumping ghost shrimp more difficult (as if it wasn't labor intensive enough already ;-)
Plus the pletherea of the little warm water nibblers in the surf and especially around the pier often makes it a tragic waste of time.
That being said, I haven't pursued them in the areas that were directly affected by the recent dredging but I found some 100 yards from the pier two weeks ago (and PLENTY of sandfleas too).
Hope this helps!
Yes, you always have something helpful to share
In July I will be staying down towards Fort Morgan
Now I know to try to work it at low tide
Maybe I will have some luck
Thank you
