Great Day for Me.

I was invited by a friend to a day of pier fishing at Gulf Shores. It was my first time ever fishing from a pier and I didn't really know what to expect. On the 3 hour drive down I was filled in on what I should "do" and most importantly "not do". I had a great day. I caught several fish, got sunburned, was given a great lunch. Met some real nice people. Lost several lures. Hung a pelican (briefly) and made it back home safely. Just wanted to tell everyone on "The Pier" thanks for a great day. I am unable to come very often because of the distance but I will be back. Thanks again, gdaddy:cool:

great folks on the pier. i wish i was only 3 hrs away. i would be there every weekend this time of year.
