To store my rigs and keep them both in one place and not tangled like two spiders doing the spider nasty I first loop the wire into a circle then take short (maybe 5") pieces of neoprene pipe wrap (the smaller size works for me) and slide the treble hook into the wrap and let the wire loop hang out. Pull the hook into the wrap to help keep it in place then store the section with the pre tied rigs into a ziplock. Be careful, they will blow away-ask me how I know-but they will be ready for rapid deployment during a crazy king blitz.
Really frustrating trying to deal with a huge mess while people are yelling "Vapor trail!!" and "Gaff!"
I go to Walmart in the craft section and they have different size zip lock bags. I get the 3 by 4 inch and only put one rig per bag. This seems to work great for me and I got the idea from one of the best John G himself.
I take my leaders and coil them up in a two or three inch circle and put them in an expandable file folder. The folder has individual sleeves that I can put individual leaders in and folds up like an accordian to go in my tackle bag. Its a smaller one. Probably about the size of an envelope. Ill try to post a picture of one.
Seems like a shiny swivel and hook by themselves should do the trick. It makes sense if you think about it. Of course I am only kidding. I have had too many spanish bite my swivel off at my mainline. What do they think that little black thing is ?
