Surf Fishng advice!!!
I am heading down to the GS area Friday and i was wondering what the surf fishing has been like lately. How is the pompano bite from the beach this time of year? Im used to catching things like ladyfish and hardtails (which are usually thrown out as shark bait later
) so I would like to switch it up this year. My family usually goes down every year for 2 weeks at a time and i've learned a lot in recent years but im always looking to learn more! Thanks guys! JD

Not 'expecting'...
but some of the computer forecast models are suggesting a 'home brew'.
Often these turn out to be nothing more than an upper air low that justs the chance of rain. (let's hope ;-)
From NWS Mobile Weather Discussion:
LONG TERM /Sunday Through Wednesday/...The unsettled weather
pattern continues through most of the the long term forecastperiod as the pattern changes very little. A couple of potentiallystronger mid/upper shortwaves are expected to approach from thewest late Sunday into early Tuesday. Ahead of these features, asurge of tropical moisture is expected to move northward from thesouthern Gulf and into our region, with precipitable water valuesclimbing above 2 inches at times over a more widespread area bySunday and continuing into early Tuesday. This will bring an evenbetter chance of showers and thunderstorms for early next week. The two days with the best rain chances look to be Sunday and Monday.Last edited by Pier#r; 06-01-2017 at 06:53 AM.
