Experienced Kayakers
You guys that have several hours in the saddle, could you talk about length, width, sit-ons vs. sit-ins, etc.

Length wise you will be better off with anything 12+ foot. The shorter the kayak the harder it is to paddle any distance the longer the easier it is. Hope this helps!

Gulfcoastkayakfishing is a good site. Sit on top only. especially for offshore use. Sit in will fill with water just due to wave action.
