I love good news
So it turns out my wife and I will get to make it back down after all. It will be at the end of October so hopefully the kings will still be around. I don't expect the water temp to drop off to much between now and then.
As a side note, it will be great to see some of you again. We are heading down the weekend of the 27th -30th. (Heading down Friday in the AM and leaving Monday in the AM).

That place gets into your soul real quick....the wife and I are trying to figure out how to make it back down over the Christmas holiday.

Thinking about another myself this fall....end of october....I feel cheated out of some good fishing/catching.....due to crappy water from the storm's

been running 1100 miles south once every year since 1985....back for a second trip of 2017 and im bringing bigger gear in a few weeks cause i got some sweet revenge on the four fish that got away this past april. GS is in my soul allright, burried deep. for sure heaven on earth
