Thread: new reel question.

I got lucy and come across a good deal on a shimano sonora.it's $49 new the one I bought was still in the box and I only paid $20.now the only downside is its a 2500 size.so my question is can you guys in your infinate knowledge give me a few suggestion on what to use it for on the pier.

I thought about using it for whiting.or I could spool it with 6 or 8 pound line and use for the pets under the pier.

It will be just fine for any fish that you do not need a large line capacity .
