Dang, I didn't know I had to register every year after I'd done it once. What do they think, that I'm gonna get younger all of a sudden?

Registering on yearly basis is relatively new. The Feds decided to implement their own saltwater fishing license (you can call it what you like, but I call it a license) and have waved the need for their license if you are licensed or registered through a state that requires a license. Make no mistake about it, the government wants to limit our right to fish.

Thanks for the remunder John. I had actually forgot. That would have sucked Wednesday when I go fishing to have a boy in blue come check me. I would have felt like an idiot.

They were checking fishing licenses and coolers this afternoon at Fort Morgan. Very nice officer but did see him writing a ticket or warning so listen to John.

+1 on reminder. Coming down later this week and that's one less thing.

Got mine. Now to figure out how to get more days of licensed fishing on the Gulf coast of Alabama, September 1 through August 31st. The biggest "limit" on my fishing is a 9 hour drive. 3 days already gone....only 362 left. :(
