Jellyfish gone, water clear
This is not about fishing, but others have asked about water conditions for kids and swimmers, so I thought I'd post.
I'm not saying that there are NO jellyfish, but you had to look hard to find one this morning. The water is as clear and pretty as I have seen it at Gulf Shores. Getting a little warm so the kings are scarce, but there are reds and sporadic Spanish of good size with tarpon around. It is hot, but I probably don't need to tell anybody that.People are shocked to see sharks in the water around here.
If you see natural water taste it. If it's salty it has sharks in it. If it's fresh it has alligators in it. If it's brackish it has both.
