Lillian/Elberta Fishing Spots?
So I've made the move from Montgomery to between Lillian and Elberta. I love the pier but often don't have the time to head down and enjoy all y'alls company. I see the Lillian Pier all the time, never seen anyone fish it. There's not much on the forum's except suggestions for a boater. Any shore fishing suggestions for the area? I'll have cut bait and the usual assortment of plugs and gulps. Thanks

Once the salinity gets higher (late summer into fall) specks go that fay north (and then some).
Otherwise target redfish with cut bait, Gulp shrimp on a jig, etc. and sheepshead with live shrimp freelined or under a small float.
Hope this helps!

P.S. I hear there are a LOT of gafftopsail catfish near the bridge in the warmer months...
