My family has rented a house on Little Lagoon for the week of July 21-28. It has a lighted pier on the lagoon. Any tips for fishing/catching would be much appreciated. We will have some youngsters with us.
We will be on west beach, five miles from the Hangout.

Live shrimp or jigs drifted/worked from the outside darkness into the light is the best approach to catch reds and specs at night. But you need to be quiet, the fish spook easily.
Jig and grub may produce a flounder. QUIET is essential for the pieratnight and later gets better.
