The family and I will be coming down in July and would love to do some fishing while there. What kind of Rig (and bait for that matter) should I bring along and what kind of fish are normally around in mid July. Just trying to make it a good outing and being prepared. This will be my first pier fishing, normally when I come down we charter an inland fishing trip but would like to try the pier out. Thanks in advance for all your guys help.
It's hard to predict what to expect,if the temps are mild,fishing should be good,if were in the dog days of summer,it could be tough. Watch the report thread a couple days before you come down and then start asking questions.
could search back to that time last summer reports to get an idea....but everyone is different as John said depends on the temp's at the time and a short time before
