Massive Speck caught at Fairhope pier:

1# test line, Zebco 202, caught on baby alligator.
37 inch, 12lbs 19oz.
(tape measure not to scale, weight approximate.)
ok fine, it was 17 inches. I caught some fingerling white trout using a sabiki, floated them under a cork, got this one, 2 smaller, and a 12" white trout along with some small whites on crappie jigs.
At least something was biting.
