WOW! Where were you fishing?
Put in at Pensacola pier and started peddling south
Sounds like you had a nice trip how many miles where you out?
Congrats, nice fish.

Six miles out in a yak. Gives new meaning in my book to the prayer "Lord your sea is so big and my boat is so small."
Nice catch man and not too bad of a meal there either! You get a weight on it?
I'm building me a little bonito/blackfin rod in bout a month, got some friends to take me offshore, can't make up my mind though, ATX blank? Gator? Maby a pac-bay
Nice fish Peaches!
Sorry never got back to ya... I can't find a thing wrong with any of the gator blanks I've used...typically they run cheaper than most other blanks but ATX is on the same level. I have never personally owned an ATX though, so...I would "go with what ya know".
On another note...I know of several Mahi caught in close proximity to the pier last year from yaks. Did we ever confirm or deny the catch of one off the pier last year? I remember seeing a pic on here.
There was a dolphin caught of the pier last year. I gaffed it. I refuse to call that fish by its Hawaiian name.
nice fish peaches but no yak for me
Nice tuna peaches!
I've done a few gators with plate seats and they feel amazing during a fight!
