Googan Question: How to fish a Looney or Gotcha...
Basically what's the recommended retrieval method of both? I did check the forums search function I swear!

depends... some days I like to wait til it hits bottom, then make 3-4 slow jerks and reels, then pause, then reel again...
Some days I count to 3 after it hits the water and start a medium fast retrieve. I have found that when I pause, if I wait just a second more before I want to reel, I get a bite...
I like the single treble and j hook gotcha with white tail hair tied under a bubble... Call me crazy but i've murdered spanish with it...

Gotcha's-reel-jerk-reel-jerk-reel-jerk. It makes the lure dart left and right. Vary the speed until you see what they want.

Same with a Looney, jerk, reel, jerk, reel. Speed depends on the day of the week, moon phase, tides and some other stuff....
