Drone fishing fails
So you got a drone for Christmas!
'Let's go fishing with it' they said.
'It'll be FUN' they said.
Boy were they right... ;-) LOL

Actually, at CES (the annual consumer electronics show) just the other day they debuted an underwater fishing drone with underwater virtual reality camera camera and lure release. Check it out at the article below:

I'd like to see an underwater killer drone for lionfish.
People are shocked to see sharks in the water around here.
If you see natural water taste it. If it's salty it has sharks in it. If it's fresh it has alligators in it. If it's brackish it has both.

I should try using a 12 guage to hit a drone. It would be far safer for the drone. Quail think so.

Watching Mr.Brownsuit approach, engulf, and swallow my drone in virtual reality mode? No thanks. I can just let my kids drive - same fear response.
Honestly, I am not sure Tom. But your speculation has merit as recent rains would have brought an influx of nutrients into eastern LL and a subsequent increase in macroscopic life feeding on that...
