Cool thread Rufus! I was hoping we would here from #r and John G🤔 A while back G had a party at the shop and we tested a lot of these lines We also tip tested some blanks and G pulled a brand new von snarl out of the box and ground the line roller down with a side grinder- sparks were flying😂

For the longest time I used Ande clear, and still have good luck with it...
But it has gotten so darn expen$ive, that I started looking around.While working at BPS (2012 to 2016), I experimented with their brand name lines and found them quite close to the big brand names at only a fraction of the cost.Now in 4# I use the green Tourney Tough, and have found it resilient for pier or from shore catching whiting & pompano...
