My Tuna Trip in the Atlantic
I went out and did some Tuna jigging last Friday. We launched our kayaks off Dania beach near Ft. Lauderdale and paddled out a couple miles.
Since it was a kayak trip, I posted my story over at the Pensacola fishing forum in the kayak section. As to not double post, here is the link http://www.pensacolafishingforum.com...slowly-110878/
Here is the pic of one of my Tuna

If you want to know why I look like I am about to pass out, read the story.
Re: My Tuna Trip in the Atlantic
:o Some story.
You're obviously an adventerous and experienced kayaker but the lesson from this could be that some conditions and locations cannot be fished safely from a kayak. By safe I include "puts human body beyond its damage threshold" as well as life safety. Just speculating. . .
Nice fish from a yak BTW.

One thing I forgot to mention was I cannot wait to go back and do it again! Maybe next weekend :)

To boldly go where no man should go, and then go back again!
Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

But you see... I have a plan. We drop the kayaks off, but park 5 miles up current. ;)

ooh I just might have to take you up on your offer Bubba...the kayak is decked out and just waiting on warmer weather as of right now. Kinda wish I had a Hobie though...paddlin for that long, I know for a fact the ole arms and back are gonna get tired. I've got a GoPro, this should be fun!

This was back when you first mentioned this tourney...not to rub it in but I remember writing this. Sounded like an adventure, nice little tuna!
