Gauguanche, also referred to as the Lesser Sennet I believe. Great eating by the way. With the exception of the shape of the filet, no difference between it and speckled trout.
Taste like specks, but have a funky smell before you clean them. Scrub your fish box well.
Hmmmm---do the sharks chomp them like they do spanish?
Haywire, we were using them for shark bait while fishing the surf at Mexico beach and the Sharks loved them! Too bad I didn't know they tasted like specs...
